Entry Information for Women's International and Club Teams

On behalf of the Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch Host Committee, we are pleased to invite your Open Women’s team to apply to compete in the Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch Women’s Elite Championship taking place July 13 - 21, 2013 in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

About The Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch Women’s Elite Championship:

  • The 2013 Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship will be held from July 13 - 21 in Surrey, British Columbia and will showcase some of the top female athletes in the world.
  • The Women's Elite Division may feature National Teams, International Club Teams, and North American Club Teams.
  • Teams selected into this event will have entry fees waived to compete in a minimum of seven (7) pre-scheduled games.
  • The 2012 Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch Tournament will serve as promotional event for the sport of fastpitch. Coaches and players in the Women's category may be asked to assist with the administration of Youth Clinics and Camps, speaking to Club Team Youth Coaches and players, and in promoting the game to media.
** We encourage teams, coaches and players to contact us and discuss the possibility of playing in the event.

The girls watched some exciting international ball and also competed against some great teams from all over Canada and the U.S. The girls have experienced some memories they will never forget. At the coaches meeting you stated that all teams would be treated the same and your word was held by all. My athletes were treated with the utmost respect and loved every minute of this tournament. They rubbed elbows with Team Canada, USA, Australia, etc. and those athletes took pictures, high fived and just made it a wonderful experience for my girls. Thank you!

As always the event was fantastic. Congratulations to the Organizing Committee. I also want to advise how much the Showcase 16U means to the players. It was amazing how many parents (from all teams) said how excited their daughters were to participate as players in the event having spent so many years as spectators, volunteers, or bat girls. I attended your tournament with my daughter and her team, and I just wanted to let you know that this was one of the best experiences she has had playing softball . What a great tournament!
